The club have won the Harp Hilly 100 shield for the 6th consecutive year.
38 BCC riders completed the shortened 60 km route beating Verulam Cycling Club with 18 riders.
Due to cold conditions with ice on country lanes the organisers wisely decided to shorten the 100 km route.
Mike (our Chairman) said ‘Well done to all who took part on a rather chilly day. I think I may have something in my eye or am I having another proud BCC Chairman moment?’
The Harp Hilly Hundred is in it’s 66th year, organised by Harp Road Club, Apsley, has been run in January every year since 1954.
BCC was formed 6 years ago and have dominated the Harp Hilly Hundred shield in recent years but still have a long way to go to equal local rivals Verulam CC, who have scooped the prize on 23 occasions.
