We’re now halfway through 2025 and it’s been a lively spring and early summer on the bike and oA it. Whether you’ve been chasing segments, tackling a long ride, crossing countries or enjoying a pub garden pint after a Saturday spin, there’s been plenty to enjoy.

What have we been up to?
As the second quarter started, mudguards came oA, the sun came out and people started riding more, further and farther afield. So, there are far more events than I can mention but here are some:

Foreign trips:
• A group of 18 enjoyed the club’s second overseas trip, this year to San Remo on Liguria’s Mediterranean coast . Signature climbs – the Cipressa, Poggio & Col de la Madone – were bagged along with a trip to/ around Monaco – but arguably the highlights were the quiet inland valleys & climbs, some good lunches and Italian gelato by the sea. Where shall we go next year?
