On Saturday 9th September Berkhamsted Cycling Club was honoured to be invited to lead out Stage 7 of the OVO Tour of Britain, which started locally in Hemel Hempstead.
Three years ago, the tour passed through Berkhamsted and as a fledgling club, we were very happy to be spectators and watching from the sideline.
It’s amazing to now be invited to lead out the professional riders and be part of the UK’s most prestigious cycling event.
The lucky few of the club thoroughly enjoyed themselves and huge thanks to Sandra Mogen and Dacorum Borough Council for making it possible.
